The facility houses classrooms, lecture halls, teaching laboratories, research laboratories, faculty offices, a greenhouse, and many student collaboration areas. The highlight, however, is a 3-story atrium that not only welcomes visitors, but provides elegant space for social gatherings and student presentations. At approximately 250,000 square feet, the "C" shaped building, constructed primarily of brick, metal panel and aluminum curtainwall, creates an inviting courtyard containing both landscape and hardscape. All of these elements combine to create a space that facilitates learning and enhance the architectural character at MTSU.
